The Treatment

VASER® Liposuction is performed under general anesthesia or twilight sedation depending on the extent of the procedure. Smaller areas can also be treated under local anesthesia. The choice of anesthesia will be planned individually and in consultation with you. Depending on the initial situation, multiple body regions can be treated in one session and different techniques can be combined.

The first days afterwards

Swelling and bruising are normal after liposuction. A significant advantage of the VASER® technology is its tissue-preserving effect: surrounding structures such as blood vessels and connective tissue are largely spared, resulting in less swelling and bruising compared to traditional liposuction. Patients can usually resume their daily activities as early as the first postoperative day – often even on the same day for smaller treatment areas. Immediately after the procedure, a custom-fitted compression garment is applied, which actively supports the healing process and helps the tissue adjust to the new contours.

Healing & Recovery

Exercise is explicitly encouraged after a VASER® liposuction – and is actively recommended after a short recovery period. The tissue-preserving VASER® technology often allows for a quicker return to physical activity compared to traditional methods. Light movement is possible in the first week, while more intense exercise is generally recommended starting from the fourth to sixth week. Regular follow-up appointments accompany the entire healing process and ensure that the results develop optimally.
