Inverted, enlarged, or excessively long nipples – the individual characteristics can vary greatly and are often perceived as aesthetically disturbing or burdensome in daily life by many patients. Particularly inverted nipples, known as retractile nipples, as well as nipples that are too large or too long, are common concerns that can be specifically corrected with very good results.

As part of a nipple correction, inverted, asymmetrical, enlarged, or overly long nipples can be precisely adjusted and harmonized – individually tailored to anatomy, proportion to the breast, and personal preferences. Yes. Inverted nipples can usually be very well corrected surgically in most cases.

The incision is made specifically in the area of the areola or nipple base – scars are usually barely visible and fade further over time. To further support scar maturation, we also offer follow-up treatment with a CO₂ laser if needed.

The result develops gradually during the healing process – typically over several weeks, until swelling has completely subsided.

Temporary changes in sensitivity in the area of the nipples are possible, but usually resolve completely during the healing process. Permanent sensitivity disturbances are very rare. We discuss all individual aspects openly during the consultation.

As with any surgery, temporary reactions such as mild swelling or redness may occur – these usually resolve quickly and without complications.
