The effect develops gradually. Initial changes are visible after a few weeks and continue to build over several months.
Yes. Targeted collagen stimulation can visibly improve the skin structure in the neck area. The skin appears firmer, smoother, and overall more toned—especially in cases of early skin laxity.
Sculptra® can achieve a gentle tightening and lifting effect, but it does not replace a surgical neck lift in cases of significant skin laxity. However, in early stages, it can be a very elegant alternative.
Yes. Combining it with other treatments can further enhance the results. Particularly beneficial is the combination with radiofrequency microneedling (Morpheus8®) to further stimulate collagen production and specifically improve skin quality.
Yes. The treatment of the neck is often combined with a Sculptra® treatment for the face to achieve a harmonious overall result. Since the face and neck are aesthetically closely related, a combined treatment is often particularly sensible.
Results can last up to two years. A touch-up is usually advisable after about one and a half to two years.
After the treatment, mild swelling, redness, or small bruises may occur, which typically subside within a few days. Most patients are socially acceptable shortly after the treatment. For optimal distribution of the product, we recommend regular massages of the treated areas in the first few days. We often follow the so-called 5-5-5 rule: massage five times a day for five minutes each for five days. We will, of course, discuss individual aftercare in detail with you.
Unlike classic fillers, the effect of Sculptra® develops gradually. Typically, two to three sessions spaced about four to six weeks apart are advisable to specifically stimulate collagen formation and achieve particularly natural results. The exact number depends on your starting situation, the extent of volume loss, and your individual treatment goals.
